Hello, My Name is Clement.

Clement Siby, a highly motivated full stack developer with over 20 years development experience.

I am a software architect and full-stack developer with over 18 years experience in the software development and web design industry. I work in partnerships with businesses in developing custom business intelligence software and online business platforms.

I work as a full stack developer utilising modern tech frameworks and tools to deliver value to customers. My tech stack includes Angular 2+, Bootstrap, CSS, HTML, Javascript and JQuery for front end development while employing C#, ASP.NET WEB API, MS SQL on the backend.
I have fallen in love with mobile and cloud app development and work with Microsoft's Azure platform to build compelling software experiences.

What I'm Doing

I love what I do. I take great pride in what I do. Simplicity is the Ultimate Sophistication. I love creating software that matters.

1. Design and Architecture

Get burned a few times by jumping into code without planning and one learns to appreciate, the process of design and architecting a system before one sits down to write code. Experience is the best teacher ad turns an eager coder into a patient software architect and engineer.

2. Coding

I love the caffeine induced coding zone, when its just me and my bits. The power of creating and giving rise to applications that solve real life challenges, is an engrossing obsession for me and i am lucky to have it as a profession. I see in binary.

3. Dev Ops

Repositiories, source control, build engines, continous integration and deployment, i cannot live without Dev Ops, even for a small project i am working on as a single developer. Its now a part of my development DNA

4. Testing

Once you use tests you can never go back! Unit Tests, intergration tests, UI testing and A?B tests are tools that are indespensible to my work.

5. Mentorship

This has been one of my most fulfilling responsibility and priviledge in my life as a developer. i am proud to have mentored over 25 developers and counting. Some to launch their careers and others to improve their skills. It is a responsibility i will be glad to do for as long as i can..

6. Consulting

With over 15 years of development experience, i have been enganged formally and informally as consultant on a number of projects and have enjoyed seeing companies and professionals improve with my input being a significant part of that improvement.

Responsibilities:
I joined Netware as a consultant to work on a mortgage system for the Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe (RBZ). My focus was on designing the software architecture, design the database and security of the system. I also helped in the training of junior developers and would guide and supervise their work.

I worked on financial systems and on integrating our software with other systems.

Web Solutions Developer - Cyberplex Africa

Responsibilities: I joined Cyberplex as Web Solution Developer specialising on the .NET platform. Cyberplex being the premier website development company at the time was well renowned for the quality of the website design work, i was hired to help establish their application development team and portfolio.
My main work revolved around developing web based application on the .NET platform. One of the products I was key in developing was an insurance broking system.I also worked on online order systems, inventory and intranets.
